About Me

Empathy. Experience.

Modalities and Therapeutic Frameworks

Modalities and Training: I am certified in somatic therapy and nervous system regulation techniques. I also provide EMDR and KAP (ketamine assisted psychotherapy). Somatic work, EMDR, and KAP can be effective for a wide variety of experiences. These modalities are neurodivergent and queer affirming, offering tailored approaches to mind-body connection, nervous system and sensory grounding, and authentic self-expression.

Therapeutic Frameworks: Sessions orient toward trauma-focused, poly-vagal informed, intersectional feminist, and attachment-based frameworks. My clinical education centered social justice, liberation psychology, and community mental health.

Lindsey Anderson

I am an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) with the Center for Mindful Psychotherapy. With 13 years of experience in the Neurodiversity movement and Disability Justice realms, I am passionate about uplifting neurodiversity, disability empowerment, queerness, and mental health. I believe that all people not only deserve the right to self-determine their futures, but also deserve accessible tools to pave their path ahead.

Historical perspectives and divergent grassroots narratives are the context for my practice, honoring the complex, intersectional histories of queer, disabled and neurodivergent life. After having an unexpectedly positive experience in therapy myself, I have a strong desire to utilize my clinical privilege to address the human experience from a depathologizing lens. I identify as a white, neurodivergent, autistic, ADHD experiencing femme queer from the south who values and prioritizes communal interdependence, abolition, and liberation.

I am under the licensed supervision of:
